Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) has launched its new website with an aim to keep followers of the game updated with a number of new features.
The new website (, which is also mobile responsive and has been designed with a user-friendly interface, will capture the corporate information and most importantly the cricket and the player’s information.
There will be dedicated areas for player profiles of all national team players. All the information on past and future tournaments, statics, and achievements will also be available on the website.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, the president of the QCA Yousef Jeham al-Kuwari, said: “the unveiling of the new website is an important step in development of the cricket in Qatar. It is a matter of pride that Qatar men’s team is ranked 22nd out of 85 countries in the world in the T20 format and women are ranked 44th out of 59 countries. These are great achievements considering that the Qatar team is ahead of many other countries, which have been playing the game for a longer period of time. We want the new website to be a gateway to the information on Qatari cricket fraternity and its achievements.”
The new website is powered by Q-tickets, Qatar’s leading ticketing solution company. QCA is a member of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and has been an International Cricket Council (ICC) member since 1999. The national teams have been participated in all regional and divisional tournaments of the International Cricket Council and the Asian Cricket Council.
